We purchased our house in Sun Lakes in May and it was clear that the landscaping had not been attended to in a while; the sprinkler system was not working properly, and the appearance was generally pretty shabby. Esteban helped us select the right plants for our setting, installed them and replaced the old sprinklers with a drip system to ensure adequate watering. Now both the front and back yard look great! The bougainvillea and lantana in the front add lots of color to the front, increasing the "curb appeal" of the house. Previous landscaper added a patio to my casita but didn't take changing grade of the yard into consideration. It made a mess causing me to have standing water in my yard by the wall. Esteban Land Design came out to give me an estimate for repair. Esteban is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He immediately saw the problem and gave me an estimate. Within the week the crew was here and began work on the project.

Prior to completion we asked them to put pavers around artificial turf to keep the rocks out of the yard. Esteban again gave me an estimate. They did an awesome job. The whole team was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They walked me around the pavers job and showed me some small drains they put in so there would not be any water standing in the yard.

They cleaned up even though they were not done with the job. They put up trash cans and made sure the gate was closed. Upon completion they cleaned, used leave blower to clean the yard and made sure there was no rocks in the yard. They put back anything they moved. The yard looks great. Esteban is third generation and has been in business 37 years. We would definitely use Esteban Land Design again. Becca the receptionist is awesome in her own right. Entire backyard landscaped. This was a 7-day project. Showed up every day at 7 am with at least a crew of 4. Esteban was at the site early each day to cover expectations. Always an English-speaking worker on site. Quality workmanship and very little material left on street at end of each day. Very satisfied with the entire project and outcome. I was looking for a reputable company to do some major landscaping work on my back yard. I wanted all new irrigation, the whole yard regraded, some plants removed, and new ones installed and finished off nicely with rock. I came across Esteban Land Design on the internet and called for a free consultation. Esteban answered on the first call, set up a meeting right away and showed up as promised. He walked the backyard with my husband and I and listened to our questions and concerns about the drainage issues and the overall vision we were hoping the yard would look like once it was done. He took good notes, gave some professional advice and provided us with a quote on the spot. We were highly impressed my Esteban and his demeanor with us. We booked with him right away and he was able to get us on the schedule fairly quickly. He had a crew on site until the job was done and actually finished the job faster than anticipated. His crew was amazing and darn hard workers. My new plants/trees are beautiful, I now have proper drainage (we just had two storms to prove it!), the irrigation system works like an irrigation system is supposed to work and we have the beautiful backyard that we envisioned. After the work was done there were a few things I asked to be changed and Esteban was out the next day himself to get things to my perfection. I hope in the spring to redo the front yard and wouldn't have anyone but Esteban and his team do the work. We hired Esteban and his crew to install artificial turf, install pavers, and move our side gate forward to add an area on our side yard for our trash/recycling barrels. The end result was fantastic. Esteban replaced my outdated sprinkler system, did some redesign of the sprinkler head location and added pavers to my existing pavers. I had Esteban Land Design in to replace a drip line and run it to some new bushes I planted, and to take up some grass near the house and change the brick border to go around it. Everything was done very professionally. The grass removal areas were laid out with a barrier to prevent weeds from growing and the brick edging was all cemented to make a beautiful sweeping edge. I wanted the job done in 1 day, but did add some work as they found problems in the existing (20 year old) system which took 2 days for the job. I felt that they left my back yard looking nice and problem-free. They work professionally to do what is needed for a quality job - not something that will be minimal now and fail again in a few years.
